Southold Dance Theater serves as a regional pre-professional dance training center. Based on various disciplines, but emphasizing ballet, Southold strives to promote dance excellence. The School of Southold Dance Theater offers classes from pre-school through pre-professional. The curriculum includes pre-technique, ballet, jazz, tap and modern.
